Young fans of hip-hop superstar Kanye West are no longer allowed to visit his website. The emcee recently installed a new policy, requiring visitors to be 18 or older before entering KanyeWest.com. A warning posted on the site reads, quote, ”This website contains explicit adult material. You may only enter this website if you are at least 18 years of age.” Fans old enough to enter Kanye’s website are greeted with several nude photos of female models. It has not been reported how or if Kanye’s new x-rated website relates to his upcoming album, “Good Ass Job.” The record is expected to arrive in stores sometime later this year.
Kanye has spent the majority of his time since last September’s MTV Video Music Awards trying to avoid the spotlight. The “Stronger” rapper made headlines during last year’s event when he interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video to claim that Beyonce should have won the award.

I know I blogg mainy about Drake all thee time so you figure that's he he's my rapper! ... Maybee, yes but, my favorite rapper of all time is Dolla. You may know him he's the dude that made, "Who Da HecK" and, "Make A Toast" ... but, he was much more than that ...
Dolla lived through his share of hardships in his short life. Born in Chicago in 1987 as a twin, Dolla's sibling died due to an enlarged heart. At the age of five, after relocating to Los Angeles, his father committed suicide in front of him. As early as age ten, Dolla was dealing drugs in attempt to help make ends meet at home. In 2006, his sister was sentenced to jail following an altercation with police, leaving Dolla and his mother to care for his young niece and nephew. In 2007, Dolla was shot during an attempted robbery.
All the while, Dolla had dreams of leaving the hard knock life behind and becoming a famous rapper. At age 12, he formed a rap group called Da Razkals Cru, who caught the attention of Missy Elliott and Sean "Diddy" Combs, later becoming a model for the latter's Sean John Clothing line.
By 2001, the group signed a deal with Elektra Records, where Dolla met the singer/producer Akon. Unfortunately, Elektra folded a few years later and the group was released from their contract in 2003. By then, Akon had already formed his Konvict Muzik imprint and was looking to expand, and so he signed a joint venture with Dolla's The Gang Entertainment. Shortly after, Dolla was signed as a solo artist to Jive Records via Konvict.
His first single, "Who The Fuck Is That," featuring T-Pain and Tay Dizm, peaked on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at No. 42 early 2008.

Twitter was sent buzzing yesterday after this image was posted by Kim Porter’s son Quincy Jones Brown. Quincy is said to have posted the picture in honor of Kim Porter for Mother’s Day. But what is intended to project feelings of love and respect took a turn for the worse. Many are questioning the mother-son kiss, stating that Quincy, 18 is too old to kiss his mother directly on the lips. But different families have different ways of expressing their love for each other right?

The forecast for a couple summer releases is looking a bit hazy. Interscope labelmates Game and Diddy have bumped the release dates for their albums.
Game’s R.E.D. Album moves back two weeks from its original June 15 date, Rap-Up.com has learned. The disc, featuring the singles “Shake,” “It Must Be Me,” and the Justin Timberlake collaboration “Ain’t No Doubt About It,” will now arrive on June 29. It had been scheduled to go up against Drake’s Thank Me Later.
Diddy-Dirty Money’s Last Train to Paris will pull into the station a week later than expected on June 29, the same day as Game. The music mogul clears the way for his labelmate Eminem, whose Recovery album shared the original June 22 date. The trio’s T.I.-assisted single “Hello Good Morning” slides 64-82 in its fifth week on the Billboard Hot 100.
Other June 29 releases include Rick Ross’ Teflon Don and M.I.A.’s third album.

While addressing graduates today at historically black college Hampton University President Obama had an interesting take on the gadgets and gidgets we have all come to love so much.
“You’re coming of age in a 24/7 media environment that bombards us with all kinds of content and exposes us to all kinds of arguments, some of which don’t always rank that high on the truth meter. And with iPods and iPads, and Xboxes and PlayStations – none of which I know how to work — information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation. So all of this is not only putting pressure on you; it’s putting new pressure on our country and on our democracy.”
But we thought iPads were replacing a campus bookstore near you? He went on to say some other stuff, but it’s the technology age….we don’t have time to listen to all that stuff………..

According to Vibe, Lauren London, LisaRaye and Stacey Dash will be staring in VH1’s first ever Scripted Series titled “Single Ladies”, executive produced by Queen Latifah.
The ladies began four-day rehearsals and filming in Atlanta this week for the show that revolves around the romantic relationships of three friends. Stacey Dash will play a celebrity stylist while LisaRaye’s character is a video vixen who doesn’t believe in having one man.
Stacey Dash on her character:
“My character is very similar to my own life because I’ve never been single. Literally, since I’ve been 17 years old. She’s never been married, the character than I’m playing, whereas I’ve been married three times, so that’s the difference,” Dash says. “It’s a really good script.”
LisaRaye on her character:
“She doesn’t have one of anything nor does she believe in having one man. She believes in dating and being able to explore her possibilities. She’s much like Samantha of Sex in the City,” explains the Player’s Club star. “Very straight up and honest. She’s the one that has that spunk, I’d like to say that she’s the slut of the three.”

“My character is very similar to my own life because I’ve never been single. Literally, since I’ve been 17 years old. She’s never been married, the character than I’m playing, whereas I’ve been married three times, so that’s the difference,” Dash says. “It’s a really good script.”
LisaRaye on her character:
“She doesn’t have one of anything nor does she believe in having one man. She believes in dating and being able to explore her possibilities. She’s much like Samantha of Sex in the City,” explains the Player’s Club star. “Very straight up and honest. She’s the one that has that spunk, I’d like to say that she’s the slut of the three.”
Lauren London will play a semi-shy character that is married to a NBA player however she will have more of a re-occurring role on the show.

Nick Cannon added some more bling to his wife’s hand by giving her a custom-made Ring Pop as a gift for the couple’s second wedding anniversary. The hand-crafted candy replica, designed by Jason of Beverly Hills, was made of white gold, encrusted with white diamonds and pink sapphire. This gives new meaning to her song “Candy Bling.”
